For your artistic side.
OpenAI is taking its show on the road, demoing its Sora AI software, that could reshape the film industry, to studios and agency brass.
Tyler Perry reportedly delayed an $800m studio expansion in Atlanta after seeing a demo, he also expressed some concern over the need for regulations to protect workers.
While the potential is exciting, questions about regulation and job security are mounting. As AI creeps closer to the directorās chair, the industry is watching nervously, hoping for a plot twist that preserves both creativity and careers.
OpenAI is trying to avoid regulatory upset by making partners of studios before going public with it later this year
PRODUCTION MASTERY
The commercial aspects of creativity.
Almost 90% of marketers have bought AI-generated content from creators, according to a new study, showcasing how popular AI-generated content has become in the creator marketplace. For example, 81% of creators report that AI-created content they share drives more consumer engagement than content made without AI.
The magic and campaign impact lies in having a balanced mix of both traditional and generative AI-driven creator content
While there is a burgeoning opportunity for creators to use AI for things like generating scripts or editing, Amanda Ferrante, chief growth officer at Code3, said that ānot all generative AI content is the sameā.
Itās tempting to think that creators are pushing a button and getting [a] new video. But the applications today are often more subtle ā use ChatGPT to generate script outlines or concept ideas, use auto-captioning tools, use Descript to edit a video using the transcript, use generative fill in Photoshop to add something to the background.
Still, donāt expect the AI trend to slow: 65% of marketers plan to increase investments in creator content over the next year, while only 4% of consumers say they donāt want to see branded content from creators, per the report.
Remember, not all AI-generated content is deepfakes or code-red viral.

De-influencing, the movement encouraging people to buy less, is gaining traction on TikTok with over 1.5B #deinfluencing hashtag views.
The trend aims to combat overconsumption promoted by traditional influencers, who often partner with brands to push products on their platforms. Some influencers are joining the movement, fostering sustainable conversations with their audiences.
A study by Unilever found that 83% of respondents trust influencers for sustainable living advice. As de-influencing evolves, it's becoming a platform for discussions on sustainability beyond just fashion.
