📱 iPhone 15: Best Cam of 2023

Who needs a camera when your phone's packing heat?

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro nabbed the 'best camera' award from tech titan Marques Brownlee. And it's not just about selfies—the iPhone 15 Pro's lens game is strong enough to go head-to-head with professional gear.

Brownlee's awards aren't a one-horse race; he's handing out hardware for best battery and more, but Apple's photo finish stole the show.

Whether you're team Android or an Apple aficionado, it's a click away from your next profile pic or portfolio masterpiece.

Is the iPhone 15 Pro a legit camera contender?

 PRODUCTION MASTERY

The hundreds of millions of dollars major studios poured into film budgets last year may have left some executives feeling a little queasy, considering that most of the year’s big-budget projects failed to make a profit.

Box office analysts suggest that massive marketing expenses and budgets should be scaled back to ensure profitability, as the 2024 movie calendar is set to feature fewer costly franchise films.

However, the reasoning for dialing back check sizes is two-fold; less is being spent on movies overall and there’s reason to believe that pure financial success isn’t as important as making a great film.

📰 NYT vs. OpenAI: Copyright Clash

The New York Times is suing OpenAI and Microsoft, claiming that the companies used its articles to train chatbots that now compete with the news outlet.

The lawsuit raises questions about the use of copyrighted material in generative AI technology and its impact on the news industry.

OpenAI, which recently struck licensing deals with the AP and Axel Springer, is now valued at over $80B after Microsoft committed $13B to the company.

This isn’t the first brush with legal trouble for OpenAI; earlier this year, actress Sarah Silverman and Getty Images filed separate lawsuits over the use of their copyrighted material.
