PRODUCTION MASTERY
The commercial aspects of creativity.

Ketchup fanatics will go to great lengths to savor every last drop. Just ask Heinz, who rolled out an ad campaign within five days after spying a viral video.

In just five days, Heinz cooked up a new ad that's got tongues wagging—and licking. Inspired by a viral video of a mom tasting ketchup off her baby (weird? maybe), the campaign shows folks going to crazy lengths to savor that last drop of Heinz.

It’s all part of Heinz’s plan to be as addictive as the condiments it sells, rolling out ads and ideas faster than you can say "pass the mustard." With the promise that more creative concoctions are in the works, Heinz is banking on its “It has to be Heinz” mantra to keep fans hungry for more.

It's a marketing play as saucy as the ketchup itself, proving that when it comes to ads, speed and flavor are a perfect blend.

TikTok may have to sell its U.S. operations due to national security concerns.

The price tag? Around $25 billion. The app, known for its short videos and catchy dances, has exploded in popularity over the past couple of years with over 100 million monthly active users in the U.S. But it’s also faced scrutiny from lawmakers who worry about its ties to China. Several companies have been reported as potential buyers, including Microsoft, which has been in talks to acquire the app since earlier this summer.

But it’s not the only interested party: Twitter has also reportedly approached TikTok about a possible deal. So far, neither company has made a formal bid.

Why would Twitter be interested? For one, TikTok would give it an instant infusion of Gen-Z users — a demographic that’s largely eluded the platform so far. It could also help it work around its biggest problem: an ad business that’s running out of room to grow.
