Apple

Apple's iPhone 15 Pro is changing the way we shoot videos with its new feature called spatial video capture.

It lets you make 3D videos of your surroundings.
But here's the catch: you can't see the 3D effect on your phone. You'll need Apple's upcoming Vision Pro headset for the full experience.

So far, only the latest iPhones can record in 3D, and the files are pretty big.
Still, filmmakers and marketers are jazzed about the tech.

Could this be the next big thing for your eyeballs? Stay tuned to find out.

 PRODUCTION MASTERY

Adobe is in hot water in the Netherlands for allegedly selling customer data without their consent.

The Dutch Data Protection Foundation (SDBN) has filed a lawsuit against the tech giant, claiming that around seven million Dutch citizens have had their data “illegally collected” through tracking cookies and code embedded in websites.

SDBN is seeking to stop the data collection, delete all the data, and compensate affected individuals. If found liable, Adobe could face a hefty fine.

This isn’t Adobe’s first dance; SDBN has also launched similar suits against Twitter and Amazon.

With Adobe’s Experience Cloud platform at the center of the storm, the company’s positive design image might not be enough to brush off these allegations.

Should Adobe be worried about the Netherlands lawsuit?

 CREATOR ECONOMY

Kelsey Russell, a 23-year-old TikToker, is trying to make young people care about — and pay for — news.

Her technique is simple: She summarizes stories from papers like The New York Times and peppers in some lifestyle content.

It’s a stark departure from the usual news routine, where reports from ABC News can get mixed in with clips from your favorite local bistro.

While traditional media is struggling to adapt, other creators like Russell are using their platforms to bridge the gap between young audiences and news they can trust.

Can TikTok actually save journalism?
