VISUAL CREATORS

Shutterstock's running an AI art contest called Canvas of the Future, and this time they want you to show off your UN-inspired sustainability vibes.

The winning artist gets a spot at the AI for Good Global Summit, but here's the catch—you can't actually sell AI-made art on Shutterstock.

Still, it's a cool chance to flex those AI art skills and maybe score some swanky connections. The deadline's Feb 29, so there's still time to program your brushes.

AI artists: Should they be eligible to win contests?

PRODUCTION MASTERY

Hollywood’s not so high on TV these days.

After years of “Peak TV” glory, where networks churned out content like a factory on fire, last year saw a 24% decline in new U.S. scripted series releases, per Ampere Analytics.

Leading the slump was SVOD (Netflix cut back from 107 releases in ’22 to 68 last year), but traditional TV wasn’t immune (CBS went from 27 to 18).

The searing spotlight of “Peak TV” might not shine so bright anymore.
