A New Hampshire-based shutterbug is taking on a little South Carolina church for allegedly using his photo as a sermon thumbnail without asking.

Erin Paul Donovan slapped down Wightman United Methodist Church, claiming it ran his pic of New Hampshire's White Mountains on its site to promote a June sermon.

Donovan reportedly first reached out in June to level copyright violation allegations, but hey, "To date, the parties have failed to resolve this matter,” according to a court filing.

Now he wants damages and an order to keep the church from posting his pics.
