PRODUCTION MASTERY

When the chimes ring, like the sounds in the wind, Nikon listens.

As mirrorless cameras reshape the photo game, Nikon’s playing both sides. They’re ditching the bulky buttons for touchscreens and cutting through the menu maze.

And while they’re at it, they’re handing you the creative keys, letting you pick the shutter sound and fine-tune your frame game.

It’s all about balance for Nikon—between tradition and transition, complexity and customization.

So, whether you’re a left-eye viewer or have hands like a basketball player, Nikon’s framing their future with you in focus.

Gather 'round, the mirrorless evolution is being televised.

CREATOR ECONOMY

It’s the first case of its kind since a Supreme Court ruling last May clarified that artist Andy Warhol had not fairly used a photo of Prince.

Tattoo artists typically don’t license the images they ink, and Von D’s lawyer argued that she had made enough changes to the photo for her tattoo to be “transformative” — plus, “nobody’s ever complained before”.

The case could be a major deal for tattooists and photographers alike.

Should tattoo artists have to license the images they ink?
